Overview

InfiniGrow enables you to map and credit SDR activities recorded in Salesforce (SFDC) tasks, ensuring that engagement from outbound sales efforts is properly accounted for in your attribution model. This guide provides best practices for mapping high-volume, low-impact activities such as LinkedIn messages and Outreach emails while ensuring that meaningful touchpoints contribute to your marketing analytics.

General Mapping Guidelines

Sales engagement platforms often push activity data into SFDC tasks, typically through subject lines. To map and credit these activities correctly, follow these general rules:

  1. Define the Subject Line Mapping Rules

    • Each sales engagement platform has a structured format for its SFDC task subjects. These must be mapped accordingly.

    • Activities should be classified based on their impact:

      • No attribution for actions that do not indicate meaningful engagement.

      • Low credit for lower-intent interactions.

      • Full credit for interactions that show genuine engagement.

  2. Exclude Non-Impactful Activities

    • Outbound actions such as an email sent without engagement (e.g., “Outreach Email Sent”) should generally be excluded from attribution, as they flood the data with non-impactful touchpoints.

  3. Attribute Meaningful Engagements

    • Responses, clicks, and opens should be considered for attribution based on engagement significance.

Platform-Specific Mapping Rules

LinkedIn Sales Navigator Activities

  • Create a channel for LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and set the department to Sales.

  • Message Sent → Map to “LinkedIn Sales Navigator” but do not attribute credit.

  • Message Response → Map to “LinkedIn Sales Navigator” and attribute credit (full or low).

Outreach (or Similar Email Engagement Platforms)

  • Email Clicked ([Outreach] [Email] [Clicked]) → Map to "Outreach" and attribute full credit.

  • Email Opened ([Outreach] [Email] [Opened]) → Map to "Outreach" and attribute low credit.

  • Email Sent ([Outreach] [Email] [Out]) → Archive (remove from InfiniGrow) as it only indicates an attempt without engagement.

Implementation in InfiniGrow

To ensure these mappings take effect, Define Subject Line Matching Rules in InfiniGrow’s Settings -> Channels, by adding rules to relevant channels as specified above.

By implementing these mapping rules, InfiniGrow ensures SDR activities are accurately represented in your marketing attribution, enabling data-driven decision-making without inflating journey touchpoints with low-impact activities.
